Lupine sighting

As Fay and I walked along Sand Beach Road, I saw my first lupine flower of the year. The lupine plants without flowers, with their long leaves arranged like petals around a daisy, are everywhere, and have been evident for weeks. But this was the first flower I have seen anywhere in the state in 2025. We had looked for them along 295 in Bowdoinham over Memorial Day Weekend, but there were none to be seen.
