Red-Tailed Hawk

The calm before the storm… On the drive back from Brunswick, we stopped in Union because we saw a large bird high up in a tree by the side of the road. I thought it was an owl at first, but his head wasn’t quite big enough. Research done later suggests it is a red-tailed hawk, but I never would have guessed.
